Hey, diddle, diddle,

The clock's restless riddle,

The girl snoozed past her alarm's tune;

Even when the sun rose high,

In the bright morning sky,

She dreamt, in her cozy cocoon.

Hey sleeping beauty,

You’re late for your duties,

You have to wake up before noon,

But the moon charmed the sleeper,

To make her dream deeper,

And she won’t be up anytime soon.
